In the realm of businesses and their customers, valuable insights often lie within the confines of enterprise systems. Accessing this data and providing real-time responses to queries using GPT models can be achieved through the approach discussed in this article.
The wealth of unstructured data in the healthcare industry has become a valuable resource for fueling generative AI. This article explores how private payers and healthcare systems can harness this technology to enhance the delivery of care.
According to a report published by 11Press, the market size of Generative AI in Business is projected to reach approximately USD 20.1 billion by 2032, witnessing a significant growth rate of 33.5% during the forecast period from 2022 to 2032. In 2022, the market was valued at USD 1.2 billion.
According to a research report, China has spearheaded a notable increase in global investment in generative artificial intelligence (AI) during the first half of this year. The country has reported the highest number of start-ups in this sector to secure funding. Zhidongxi, an AI-focused research firm in China, reveals that 51 generative AI start-ups worldwide raised approximately 100 billion yuan (equivalent to US$13.8 billion) in the first six months of 2023. This funding size is ten times larger than what the sector received in 2022.
According to a report by Mizuho Bank, cloud deals in the first quarter experienced a delay of approximately 50% in their closure compared to usual. This was mainly due to customers reducing their IT budgets. However, in the second quarter, deal cycles have returned to a more typical timeframe of around 30 to 60 days. The stabilization in deal closure time can be attributed to the increased demand for generative AI, a technology that operates in the cloud.
BUSINESS
Virtually every business executive desires to explore the potential of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in enhancing their organization's efficiency and workforce. However, as is the case with any groundbreaking advancement, it is crucial to pause and grasp the fundamentals of GenAI before diving in. Taking the time to understand what GenAI offers and implementing it responsibly becomes imperative for generating valuable business outcomes while safeguarding your reputation.
Over the past few years, the use of generative AI in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) market sector has witnessed significant growth. Generative AI involves leveraging artificial intelligence technology to generate innovative outputs by analyzing input patterns or data inputs. When applied to the ERP market, it brings forth a wide range of advantages and opportunities.

AI For SRE/DevOps
A news release from RunWhen.
We just launched "RunWhen Local" last week and are now up to 218 downloads, 150 of them yesterday (link below). This is far more than we were expecting, most of it because of our contrarian take on the direction of AI and open-source communities.
On Trustworthy AI - While generative AI may be good at writing application code, we believe that generative AI is really quite bad at writing SRE/DevOps-style troubleshooting commands. However, it is very good at searching for commands written by experts, interpreting their output, and chaining them together in insightful ways. This is the core of our commercial product.
On A Fair Community - Unlike traditional open source work, we pay royalties and bounties to the experts in our SRE/DevOps community when our AI product runs the commands they have contributed. This is in stark contrast to most tools that use code with neither attribution nor shared economics. We put together the open source tool to promote the work from our community while we are working towards the launch of our commercial product, and have been stunned to see the response. I take this as a sign of community support amongst the SRE/DevOps community for an approach to AI that is both trustworthy and fair.
